Ford Approved means that you have the assurance that our pre-owned vehicles meet Ford's high standards for quality and reliability. To become Ford Approved, a vehicle must pass a 160-point inspection to ensure that it is mechanically sound, has a full-service history and has not been registered for more than five years. Plus the vehicle must have a maximum mileage of 120 000 km and its mileage reading must be verified. When you purchase a Ford Approved vehicle, you can expect to receive the balance of the manufacturer's warranty or a new warranty, as well as the balance of the service plan and maintenance plan. Roadside assistance is also included for the first 12 months and you have the option to trade in your current vehicle.
If you choose to purchase a Ford Certified vehicle, you can expect to receive all the benefits of the Ford Approved program, as well as a one-year Ford Protect extended warranty. Full-service history can also be provided upon request, and the balance of the service plan is included (which may vary depending on the model).
