The Ford Transit has become a firm feature of the roads, and the new generation model is every bit as distinctive when it comes to exterior design. The cabin can accommodate up to three passengers in cloth-covered seats for your comfort. It now comes with 15.1 cubic metres of load space in the new the Extended Long Wheelbase option, with space for as many as five Europallets, so you can tackle challenging jobs with relative ease. An available fold-out table and under-seat stowage compartment that will accommodate a toolbox are handy features to make life on the road simpler, plus you also get dual cup holders.
When it comes to performance, the new Ford Transit certainly won’t let you down. The next-generation model comes with an available unique calibrated 2.2-litre turbodiesel powertrain, achieving 92kW and 114kW and an impressive 360Nm and 385Nm of torque respectively. Opt for front- or rear-wheel drive, depending on your requirements. All models are equipped with a suite of safety features, including automatic braking, electronic brakeforce distribution and emergency brake assist to help you maintain control in all conditions.
Options include a rear-view camera and rear parking distance sensors to give you all-round awareness. When it comes to infotainment systems, you can enjoy all the benefits of Bluetooth® technology on board, which means you can make hands-free phone calls while keeping your eyes firmly on the road ahead. Two, well-positioned front speakers provide crystal-clear sound, while radio controls on the steering wheel give you control over the volume, plus so much more.
